Hi Aoktar. Glad to see the plugin is proceeding nicely, I was wondering, could you give us some idea of your next steps, what with Octane 2.0 coming along? Also, are you going to keep working on this plugin for there foreseeable future?
Thanks for all your work so far!

Hi aoktar,
i did some tests with newest release (1.51)and emission. I found a strange effect using emission and meshno.
As soon i turn from meshno 0 to 1, the emissionpower decreases.
The file is attached for checking.
cheers,
djart

Hi aoktar,
with 1.51.0 the standard C4D OpenGL viewport does not update at all when having some more octane materials, even when the octane live viewer is disabled. It's kind of frozen, the only thing that triggers an update is moving or changing the camera. This is sad as animating an octane scene is nearly impossible now...
Best regards,
Paul

i don't think that it was different on older versions. Why do you don't refer to liveviewer any kind of animation?fuelnewmedia wrote:Hi aoktar,

Hi aoktar,
Thanks for your - as always - quick response!

But I found out what causes the update problem: Octane Lights!
Disabling them does not have any effect, but when you delete them from the scene,
standard viewport is running nicely. Maybe you could implement a killswitch for this?
Best regards,
Paul

Because LiveViewer does neither show controllers nor axes. Kind of difficult for character animationWhy do you don't refer to liveviewer any kind of animation?
