Hi Paul and Arthur,rappet wrote:Thanx for tip.BfPuVAK wrote:Hi Jeroen,
For me reducing Core Clock & Memory Clock both only by 10Mhz (MSI afterburner) seems to solve that problem.I encountered another thing while rendering an animation (seperate jpg's):
after rendering a bunch, the rendering seems to stop whitout any error, but it shows the Samples/pixel and Phase, but just does not continu rendering.
I have to stop The Creating Fly-through pop-up and start the animating-rendering again (gladly I can start with a last-rendered+1).
I am trying to monitor the temps of GPU, but I am not sure what the problem is.
No stopping at rendering animations for 3 days now...
May I ask what trees you are using (in the back in your last screenshots) ?
Greetings,
Artur
I won't downclock my GPU yet while rendering for a few hours for small animation,
but if I need to render overnight I will have to.
The trees are from the standard AC library. I apllied material from DB and it is OK from distance but not from close.
I'm have the animation public soon and I 'll show you the result of using AC trees.
Soon we will be able to use proxy objects and we can link to obj trees![]()
Greetings, Jeroen
I downclocked my GPU's to 95% of the default, but that did not solve the issue. It stopped rendering.
I thought the screensaver migth be the problem, but it is seems not to be either.
I aslo tried to downclock the GPU while rendering when the temps where getting higher,
but then I am getting a cuda error sometimes and the rendering stops too.
At this moment while I am writing this, I am rendering with 4 GPU and turned screensaver off and I am monitoring the temps to see if they getting higher to see if the rendering stops at certain point, but now I noticed by low temp and low gpu clock that it seems two of four are not rendering while they were activated in the beginning? I'll start againg to see if this keeps happening.
greetings, Jeroen
UPDATE
I restarted the PC just to be sure while I was confused why 2 of 4 GPU did not work... maybe it was some tweaking I did that meshed things up. Gladly for me all 4 work now. I set them to default and start rendering the animation again to see what happens and it looks OK now.
