Yes, thanks. I have replied to OTOY with the info they have requested. I hope this won't take long.

After giving OTOY all the requested info, there was no solution for Poser crashing when checking credentials online. They asked me to revert back to Octane 2 until they figure this out. Once again, DRM shoots itself on the foot.

The next release will hopefully resolve all the authentication issues people are having, and it should be available shortly. In the meantime, pls use the Octane 2.25 version of the plugin if having authentication problems.

Yes, I have already reverted back to Octane 2. Not much else I can do until this online authentication in V3 is resolved. Perhaps V3 was released before it was ready, like it happened with Poser 11 earlier this year. Such a pity, but that's Ok - Octane 2 is already awesome as it is.

For any users still having authentication issues, or experiencing a crash during authentication, you can try a pre-release of the next version of the plugin:

3.0.21.74 (not released)
- Compiled with Octane 3.01 (3.0.21)
- Added an "Activation" button to the OctaneLive tab which can be used to deactivate the plugin
- You can now disconnect the Medium from the Environment Medium pin
- Fixed issue where loading certain LiveDb materials would crash the plugin

This is not the final Octane 3.01 build - and there are a few issues, but it would be good to hear from users if it resolves the authentication problems.

I have installed 3.0.21.74 x64 and gave it a try. It gets up to "Authenticating Octane Credentials. Please Wait..." and gets me "Poser Pro executable file has stopped working", which closes Poser altogether. I haven't seen yet what the plugin looks like in V3, since it doesn't get to that part. Still no news from OTOY. Thanks for trying, Paul.

Thanks Ken. Have you tried deleting C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Temp\octren1 and C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\OctaneRender\otoy_credentials?

That's what OTOY had me do, and it was their only idea, but it didn't work.
