It's already step by step...?

Grab the latest manual here:

Chapter 3 shows general overview of what's going on.
Chapters 6 and 7 are the ones you should follow step by step.

Infotext in the GUI can now be made white, and the modules can now be made a lot taller if you wish so:

Phantom Scatter 1.10 d is now available!

Visit the website here: http://scatter.phantomtechnology.nl/

» Minor performance improvement when the program is idling.

» Added function INFO TEXT COLOR under MAIN, this makes the function info text display in white instead of the default (purple). This makes it easier to read on lower-spec displays.

» Added function MODULE HEIGHT under MAIN, this function allows you to make the height of the modules on the bottom of the interface taller, so more functions fit on them in-view.

» Functions SAVE and LOAD under MAIN are now improved and support up to 20 states now.

» Added function NODE SPACING under IMPORT / EXPORT. This determines the spacing of nodes in the hierarchy exported into Octane Render standalone.

Phantom Scatter 1.10 e is now available!

Visit the website here: http://scatter.phantomtechnology.nl/

» Fixed the type and group selection buttons in the GUI for DECORATION scatter for when function MODULE HEIGHT is set to TALL or VERY TALL.

» The imported *.OBJ now properly goes to the accent color while in DECORATION scatter.

» Rewrote the state loading and saving code, should hopefully fix the issues.

Hi, I have a question. Is there a quick way to refresh the scatter nodes in Octane? Every time I change the parameters and re-export the files, in Octane I have to go through each node individually and refresh them, it's quite time consuming. Any idea?

I've posted about this in the 'what features you want most topic', but the devs have done nothing with it so far. Probably flew below the radar. It would be great to have a 'refresh all of the scatter nodes' feature, but I can't make that happen... So start posting about it!

My current pseudo-solution is I have an SSD with my projects, whenever I need to refresh them I save the project then go to file -> load and open it up again... Still pretty slow compared to a possible 'refresh all of the scatter nodes' feature, but faster than manually refreshing them all.

I just visit Your website. And I saw, that the Phantom software is only available for Windows. But creative people are working on Macs – mostly.
