Generally the way it works after a new Octane Render is released, the various plugin creators use that code to compile for their particular platform. It's not a push-button process, though, and lot of code may need to be modified to work in different programs. Ahmet (the C4D plugin developer) is usually pretty fast, but this being Alpha 1 of a major update, it could take a while. Once there is a stable Octane released, updates to the plugins usually follow within a few days.

I can't speak for Ahmet, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's not worth his time to jump through the hoops while Octane is still in Alpha. Maybe Beta or Release Candidates, but an awful lot can change between A 1 and official Stable release.

I don't suppose this is a question! But... It may take some time to integrate new features. And we haven't started to do it before SDK and Standalone released.

Thanks for this amazing release! I was just wondering if there is a planned release date for the C4D version of this? Or is that still unknown at this point?

Thanks in advance! So excited for this version of Octane!
