Hi,
We will be looking to have some updated builds, across all three platforms (Windows, OSX, and Linux), as soon as possible. We will need to be thorough with ensuring that we do not trip up on some of the quirks in the older v2 codebase. I will post more information on progress early next week. Apologies for the delay.

appreciate the update!
Can anyone tell me if it is possible to actually use the localDb function in V2 for Maya to exchange materials from other(modo)octane plugins?
If anyone has figured out how to break the seemingly hard-coded path for the localDb that Maya(2016) refuses to work with, could you please share how to do this?
./rrb

Any new news on when the rebuilds will be done?
Win version has been out a month.
MacOSX is still on 2.24.2 -.24
I know you guys are all frantically making sure Maya 3.0 is going to rock... but please make sure the OSX verison does not get so far behind.
We cant use 2016.5 and 2017 and these versions have several new features that Octane can render... MASH etc.
Thanks

So, it's past "early next week" now. Can we get a status update of when to expect this update?

So the bugs like "useless Z-depth value" and the batch render problems will be gone for the next release?

It's now Friday and still not even a response? You said you would let us know what is going on early in the week.
If I did this to one of my clients, I would definitely be fired from the project and potentially sued. It's boggles my mind that you or OTOY finds this acceptable.
