OcDS 2.1 PRE RELEASE

Was looking forward to this release.

But unfortunately it crashes every time I load anything

. I have tried loading scenes saved with 1.2 version of the plugin. I tried creating a new scene and just added one of the DAZ characters. Every instance it has crashed. I guess this is similar to what others are facing. Anything with Genesis / Genesis V2 with texture crashes.

Unusable as of now.

new updater did the job, installed v2.12 fine.

now it the license that doesnt update but i guess that an other departement of octane.
bought the plug-in upgrade (& stand alone v2.x) license, received confirmation emails, stand-alone reads updated in my OctaneLive Account page, but daz plug-in still reads v1.x

edit: sent mail to [email protected] & crossing fingers

Weird, no problem here when loading a new textured DAZ/ Genesis 2 figures. (for example Mei ling, Aiko 6,Victoria 6, Mayuree HD All load fine with textures).

Did a upgrade from 1.2 to 2.12. However id did change all Path settings in the preference tab to my second harddrive. In default setting (c:/ main drive in the path settings) DAZ Studio keeps crashing for some reason.

It is funny but the new release OcDS_Preview_Setup.exe that t_3 provided us today, seems to be the exactly same file that he had released on 2nd of October, maybe he uploaded the wrong version...

Thanks hamer66. I will give it a try. I also tried loading other objects (non genesis), that crashed too.

I checked my preference tab. Saw there was a new path "Map import path" set to "ImportedMaps\" without any drive letter. I changed it to my second hard disk like all my other path settings. Tried to load existing scene as well as new, no luck. Crashed each time.

Will try a few more things and share if I have any success.

Take a look at the files t_3 provided us OcDS_Preview_Setup.exe appear to be the same as one month ago, the same product version, the same size on harddisk.
