Please, check that you have copied the last Octane.dll and Octane.dat available inside the beta2 .zip file in your LightWave/bin folder. This problem can be that you are mixing the new plugin .p file with the old Octane.dll and Octane.dat files.

I have copied the latest dll and dat files, if you are referring to ones at the start of this thread.

Yes, you need to be sure that both the plugin .p file and the Octane.dll/.dat files are the last ones available in the .zip file. You can check the files dates to be sure, or search in your HD for the Octane.dll to be sure that you don't have an older one.

If anyway you can't enable the plugin, please let me know.

I have NOT tested this update yet but with the earlier .p only update again the 99% render problem occurred and this time Layout got stuck (nothing works but it is NOT in 'not responding' state) and only way is to kill the Layout process.
Sorry, I don't remember, are you using the network rendering feature?

-Juanjo
No, I never use network rendering, just plain F9 :)
I added that info to my signature, you cannot remember who is using what so it's good place to put it :D

Juanjo, could you please make the displacement to support Octane Procedurals? :)
Now that it needs image texture, using procedurals is real pain as there are 'cracks' in random places because of the 'image' edge. I'm trying to make mountain rock material and it is not working well because of that. Changing the mode (wrap/white/black etc.) does nothing for this.

Please tell me it is possible :)

Sorry again. Currently Octane doesn't support procedurals as displacement, and the wrap modes are also not supported yet. You need to use seamless raster textures as displacement with the current Octane version.

I am thinking about the possibility of support a mirror wrap mode inside my rasterization code to at least support the LW procedurals without seams.

Do you have this behavior if you render your scene only with the Titan or only with the GTX 590? ... I can't reproduce this problem here with the last version.
