Was it commercial work? Generally speaking since you made the render the person doesn't have the right to ask you to remove it since it is your artwork. Even if it is their face.

Unless this was commercial work and you were hired to create the image they shouldn't be able to say you can't share it.

Is there a place where I can see it?

Thats a shame, maybe if other people post it on a bunch of sites and credit you, they cant do much :D
