The plugin is pickup up the AngelStrandBum.jpg texturemap as the specular map, and plugging it into the specular pin, which is what you would expect. But the specular map is very bright, so the specular is overpowering the diffuse. Setting "index" to 1.3 will probably fix it, or reduce the image power. It's only be recently that bringing across the specular map from the Poser material was added, and I haven't had much feedback to tune it yet, so if you have some consistent index or power settings, I can add them to the plugin.One screen-shot coming up
With no OctaneDefaults.py file, a python exception is raised when Poser initialises all the plugins, and Poser does not handle this correctly and it looks like it stops loading critical libraries that Reality needs - resulting in the error you are getting.I deleted the "OctaneDefaults.py" by mistake, so of course Poser should give me an error when starting Poser. But I got a whole bunch of errors. Is this triggered from The Octane for Poser plugin or is this a general PoserPro 2014 error ?
