I always do bloom after the render in ps, but it´s ok to have it inside the render. Also the glare is really nice to have. I would like to see some ambient dispersion effect, that would be cool.
AMD FX8350 8 cores. 16GBs RAM

on iPad exist an app called Lens Flare HD. It has the best flares I saw in computer graphics, better than Knoll.

I hope you will implement some of them...

Just to be sure, what you mean with Lens diffraction is the airy disk phenomenon, right?

I like this image with the car and sun through the trees very much ! Very nice.
