Can you tell us how many GPU where used and what is the render resolution ? In case it's directly related to specific values ?YoonKyung wrote:I am sorry I have one issue not solved, yet.

Can you provide at least one for us so we can try to reproduce it here ?acc24ex wrote:benchmark scene loaded octane_benchamrk.obj and just turned on the physical sky
seems ok..
crashes on some .obj files that worked before...
Yeah, I noticed that. It's not specifically related to slider values but things that are not reset in the accumulation. In the mean time, move slightly the view point and it'll disapear straight away.SheepFactory wrote:Ok I am having a couple problems with this release, I will list them as clear as I can:
- I am getting flashes of white as I move sliders in the render viewport like a strobe light effect. This is especially visible when you move the aperture slider. The screen flashes white in certain slider positions and slowly fades back to normal.
At any number of GPU or CPU and any resolution, it happens, when lights are rare, as shown in screen shot.Nostromo wrote:Can you tell us how many CPU where used and what is the render resolution ? Well, this new release is promising, and I'm concious that you have worked hard on it.
I don't like to bring bad news, and I'm really sorry to say that, but for me some bugs that are supposed to be fixed are still there :
- I have tested with one and two GPU (my internal 8800 GTS 512) and my new External GTX 260 in the X-Pander box, and the available memory amount displayed under the render screen is still O MB.
- Vertical strips are still there. They can be removed by switching Kernel from Directlighting to Pathtracing and coming back to Directlighting, but they appear again when you add a texture.
- Octane still freeze at exit.
- The Device manager still hide under the render screen, as well ast the Daylight animation panel and the Turntable panel.
- The Mesh Preview Kernel node output is not connected when opening Octane, until you move it in the graph editor (Not annoying, but weird).
They only crash after trying to open an older OCS.radiance wrote:do you mean all your OBJ imports crash or they only crash after you've tried to open an older OCS file ?SamPage wrote:If I try and open an old *.ocs, dismiss the Invalid Scene File Version with OK, then right click on the graph editor, Add->Object->Mesh I get a repeatable crash here.
