yep a new vote list would be good.

Vertex Maps and OSL would be top priority for me for example (OSL for X-Particles support in C4D)

I would love to have a little button that switches the UI at vp, instead of gray to..................white! :o

Aliased z-depth pass and better noise shader (like bercon noise in 3dsmax)

Triplanar mapping !! (for uv free shading)
shaders for masking, directional, sloping... (for create smart materials)
glossy and difuse material in one (i hate use mix material for simple translucent and reflective shader and the result is 50% reflective and 50% tranclucent = phisical incorrect)
render filters (ex: lanczos, gaussian,catmull)

and need 3.1 now!

+1 for boolean rendering. not only for archviz 'reveal' effects but also for many kind of motion graphics effects! this is deeply missing!

^This^. Very difficult to drive FX-heavy scenes without vertex map support, and frustrating waiting for OSL to arrive so i can push octane beyond the relatively limited shading toolset currently implemented.

+1 for boolean rendering. I have asked for this many times. This features can be an awesome addition to the capabilities of octane render in motion graphics animation.

Could Octane be made to, or somehow be made to have an option to, compile a scene (ie Frame#2) whilst one is rendering (ie Frame#1)?
For an image sequence exported to the standalone this would be awesome...!

- More Procedurals and the possibility to drive them as displacement.

- Mix nodes with more slots.

- Add blending modes (add, screen, etc).
