Hello aoktar,
I know we have the luxury of one of the fastest plugin developers so don't take this as pressure, I am just wondering when is the estimated release for 2.13 plugin?
Thank you.
Version 2.12.2 - final (updated on 18.11.14)

i'm working on plus some fixes and minor improvements. But i can bypass 2.13 and wait 2.14 due a problem on sdk.

Aoktar, just wanna say a huge thank you for doing such a great job integrating Octane into C4D. It's working like a charm

Thanks for this info, if this sdk problem is not serious I wouldn't mind working with 2.13 plugin, the maxwell 2 speed up could save me days of render, but of course if this problem is critical I understand the wait to 2.14...
Best Regards.
it's possible to publish 2.13. You can check what's new on here:http://render.otoy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=43530ratata wrote:Hello aoktar,aoktar wrote:Thanks sensibility,

But a random error can appear for mouse picking on LV. This can affect some LV commands also. I don't wanna grapple with unnecessary bad feedbacks. If anyone need it just let me know

hello aoktar. great work as always! octane becomes more pleasurable with every update!
i have a simple question: with native cinema i can render splines, by just adding a hair material (see screenshot). when trying to render this with octane in 'life viewer' obviously i see nothing, becaue guides are missing. yet, when trying to render to 'picture viewer', c4d crashes. i was wondering if this a bug, or if octane simply can not render hair without a hair-object and guides (and therefore the crash is expected).

yes, you can call it a "bug". I never likes this word but yes. I have fixed somethings on hair part so that seems as fixed. You can render it on next version but LV will not support.momade wrote:hello aoktar. great work as always! octane becomes more pleasurable with every update!

Well. Thats great, because it will make splines renderable a lot easier than with adding hair and using splines as guide and disabling all dynamics and so on and so foth.. Cant wait for the next update. Thanks for your quick answer.

By the way. Any hope that it will be possible once to see the "final" hair in 'live viewer'? Or is this a definite limitation of octane render?
if I will turn OFF OpenGL in preference..still not working. Or in C4D this is not possible at all?aoktar wrote:no support on openglvalters wrote:Was working under the project where scene was mostly from PNG images (with alpha) that had animation (sequence).
Here is some that I didn't find how it works or it was a bug:
Octane Render 2.12.2
1 - Alpha is black in viewport
2 - Materials preview object is only "sphere" (Plane was needed)
3 - Material>Editor>Animation Preview: Not working. Can't get work Animated Preview in viewport.
4 - Material>Editor>Editor Display: Always on Combined mode and this mode can't be switched.
