Sorry for hijacking this thread - but seeing the great renders here made me think of hair rendering....
As you would have seen - Octane2 supports strand hair. I am working on having the plugin support Poser dynamic hair at the moment. It's working nicely - however I don't have any good dynamic hair props. Does anyone know of any high quality (and preferably free) dynamic hair props? I remember someone had converted the Koz hair to dynamics, and they were great - but I can't find them on my system now.

I can remember also... I know Chopper was busy with the hair intensely.

Actually there is lots of free dynamic hair props in the standard library of Poser - won't be for the DAZ3D figures, but will surely do just for trying it out.
Speaking of which (Octane 2.0) is there already information on pricing?
Howmuch green will we have to send you in order to get displacement maps, hair strands, Motion blur and so on and so on?

Weird question, but...
Initially I bought both Octane (which I sadly have yet to play with much) and of course your plugin. With respect to Octane 2, I really need only upgrade the plugin and still be in the rendering game, right (i.e. does your plugin embed the core engine)? Or does it require both purchases again?
Thanks,
Sam

A question for ya...Witpapier wrote:Another TGX render
The latest batch of "shaders" I bought from you included TGX (Oily, dry, v2, v3, etc), but they seem to darken the skin way more than your examples here. Time to upgrade to the 5 spec maybe?
Thanks,
