Great render. I can't wait to see the finished product.

That brings back some memories. I remember (barely) playing Breakout and Combat many, many moons ago.

Thanks for the memories.

OMG... I had one of these too, was my first console (I think I used to play at SpaceInvaders and Asteroids, but I'm not sure... I was soooo young). What I'm sure of is that I broke all my original Atari Joysticks a couple of year later playing at Olympic Games with my first C64 :-)

thanks for remember me the good old days and congrats for your excellent works, Eric... very inspiring!

cheers,
A

Your modeling skills are superb. These models you build have a real world feel about them that inspires others to attempt to do the same.

Keep up the great work and thanks for sharing.

PS. Where did you post the numark in the Gallery.

some bump mapping ontop of the joystick and top plastic of the unit would be handy.
beta2 is nearly here so if you work patiently you'll be able to render it with bump maps...

Great entries :) I really like the Atari joysticks ( Im too young too seen such a system but I saw the joysticks once and You nailed it ). The bumps will change whole point of view of everyone renders I think.
