Soon! I'm backWeezer wrote:I totally agree with the above sentiments. Having said that, is there a timescale for the next update for Octane X and R23?

It's in this topic nowWeezer wrote:I guess 'soon' is next week, maybe? Sounds like Octane X PR2 performs even better (around 10%), so impatient to get my hands on it! Plus I can put my RX580X back in the Mac Pro!

You make like as customers we cant even ask when new updates are coming...maybe you should get help with updates then? Is it just you doing them on your own?aoktar wrote:Yes! I cannot synch my work to every release dates, I don't decide when they do. Also we have own workloads to complete. I prefer to finish my tasks first, then look for new c4d versions. This is my safe way for development.mattking wrote:Impatient....?! Obviously because pretty much every user of Octane and C4d will want to use the most recent features in R23...and wont be able to until Octane is ready for R23...
And I just read through other responses of people being annoyed while others saying that we should respect the developers...my original response was not to be disrespectful but, Ive been an Octane customer for years and on the forum Ive seen this Aoktar's responses to questions of all kinds and a lot of the responses have a bad attitude and disrespect for the customers asking questions. And seeing his response to someone just asking when the new release will be is the last straw. If you cant reply in a professional respectful way to customers, please hire some customer care staff to help. Who have more tact...thanks
