I was just kidding :) no worries.
Photofly is a stand alone 3d generation app, refractive can only have interest in users using it for better visuals be that stills or moving contents.

Very interesting, I also find cheap/alternative 3d scanning may be useful soon.

I thought that I'd give it a try myself. Please bear in mind that this is my very first try. I only downloaded the software about 90 minutes ago. I thought that I'd try something pretty ambitious so I found a soft toy to photograph.

I think the results are darn near amazing!

OK, we get gometry, but how about mats?.. we get what?..
how about the integration with Octane?

You get mesh and materials, prepared directly to be rendered in octane.
