YES !!! I was one of the first people to upvote it, beleive it or not. I was looking in that older version of Octane wondering "why the hell did they remove a perfectly working adaptive subd's???" I went to make a request, saw your request and clicked that upvote button with all the strength that I have. ;)

Limited but still VERY powerfull. Remember, we can have multiple OSL nodes. We can combine them with other tools. We can make tools. And this is just the begining, we have to be realistic. Geometry compilation didn't improve much since V1. It did, a little bit, recently but still... It deserves an 'OSL like' overhaul.
