Big thanks for the exellent support, but i have some ideas for further versions of octane:

* Alphachanal / Bumpmaps are in one of the next versions integrated
* Normalmapping?
* Displacement
* other Mappingmethods (frontalmapping, cubicmapping and so on)
* mixed Textures (gaussianspectrum for diffuse the RGB-picture as an example)
* Caustics
* Sun/Sky
* Gloweffects and material, who can illuminate the scene
* Shader (noiseshader, tileshader an so on)
* Ngons

everything in your list will be in beta2 except: displacement, othermapping methods, material emitters (eg glow effects as you call them), ngons.

caustics have been supported since our very first alpha/demo version.
pathtracing is unbiased and calculates caustics.

it's not very efficient for them, but MLT will solve that which will be added soon.

ngons are actually a modeling tool, they don't belong nor have any use in octane render.

*run away* :mrgreen: Stop chasing meeee... I told you I wasn't a MoI3D user anymore :lol:
But more seriously, there's a lot of MoI3D users and we are all happy to have support for this problem

Br1: Not for this next beta, no. Unless Radiance is hiding something from us... (which I doubt)

Not until MLT is here I think
Its useless to have animation if there's no MLT because its gonna be fireflies everywhere :mrgreen:
