When i export a scene with cinema 4d strays camera position
Please help me solve the problem. When exporting an animated scene into the octane, the position of the camera turns away from the scene and further renedere animation render the whole scene from afar did not pick up where it was supposed to be a camera. Units put centimeters, choose a camera that is needed in the exporting menu but still the same crap. Help, what's the problem?

That's not always true... in my case I experience issues with camera position, targetting and dof, even if I keyframe everything or change units... We have to wait for the next updated releasebepeg4d wrote:Hi Faustik,
The v11c works perfectly with R13, only issue is to detach from network during animation render

hi andrea, i can confirm to you that the 11c exporter works pretty well with r13. i've done a lot of animations during the past to months with no issue and without detaching from the net. the problems you described seem more related to an incorrect scale setting, take in count that, with r13, the unit system is changed

Hi Beppe, thank you for the answer, maybe I can send you a test file so you can verify the setup... I'm sure to have checked system units and camera target too... As soon as I have 5 minutes of speartime I will upload the file and I will share it giving you the link.
Thank you again, Ciao!

This is the shared file Sponza_Octane for R13 with textures.
We can use this file to share personal setups...
#Beppe: let me know if you experience the "cmaera issue" when rendering both stills and animation

Hi andrea,
ok, i've successfully open and render the scene without any changing in the c4d file and ocs ( only choose the DL4). i've also rendered the 75f animation with no issue. since 75f are too few, i've expanded the animation to 750f but during night the electricity is gone and this morning i've found only 99f. tonight i start another test and we will see

[SOLVED] - I have to say THANK YOU to Beppe, he helped me to solve the camera export issue.
If you want to export correctly the whole scene with correct camera position and dof, you have to set METERS in all this checkbox:
Cinema 4D --> project settings (CTRL+D) --> document scale --> 1 as METERS
Cinema 4D --> edit --> preferences --> display units --> METERS
Octane PLUGIN --> project configuration --> METERS (Actually I don't use the related checkbox "use document scale")
Octane Standalone --> Settings --> OBJ import, units METERS

Hi! Octane jumps some frames in export animation.. I use C4D R13.. is the plugin exporter for R12 only?
I'll try with the new beta too..
