Hi,
when I try to load 1500 png files as a texture sequence (animated texture) it will not load them into the stack. So I need to load the first 1000 and then the remaining 500 in a 2 step process.
I guess it is a bug.
I used version 3.00 for this...
Cheers

I can't reproduce this. I can load 2000 in both 3.00 and 3.01 on Windows - what platform are you using?Refracty wrote:Hi,

I'll do it this weekend.abstrax wrote:Sorry, I can't reproduce it. If you do this on a simple scene and save the project and then load the project, does the problem still occur? If yes, could you send me this project please? Thank you.Rikk The Gaijin wrote:I found a bug.
If you create a Diffuse material, then change it to a Glossy material, then change it back to Diffuse, something breaks in the way the material handles the light.
You might want to check it.
Hi Haze,
the images have a size of 2953 px * 514 px in png format.
I am using Win 10 64bit

I am having trouble getting Octane 3 to read our Tesla cards. I use them mostly as a slave GPU's. No problems at all with the other installs on computers with our Titans.
I have a couple screenshots.
From Standalone (they are sort of greyed out. Available, but not active)

When running the slave daemon, it shows this for a split second then crashes. I managed to snap a screenshot at the right time to catch this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Excellent product regardless of this issue I'm having. Bravo.
Edit: All drivers and CUDA drivers are updated

We have not encountered compute model 3.7 before. I will make a change to use the compute model 3.5 kernels for compute model 3.7, too.Refracty wrote:Hi Haze,

Awesome. Not to be pushy, but any ETA? We have 12 Titans that can do the brunt work for now, so it's not huge concern until i get a tough render in.abstrax wrote: We have not encountered compute model 3.7 before. I will make a change to use the compute model 3.5 kernels for compute model 3.7, too.
FWIW, these cards worked fine with 2.X
We never tested the Tesla's with the alpha and beta releases, since we never used those in production.

Sorry, I forgot to make this change yesterday, but just made a test build - see here: viewtopic.php?p=279667#p279667SVITAdmin wrote:Awesome. Not to be pushy, but any ETA? Hi, I'm still having issues reproducing this. Would you mind sending me exact instructions and/or the scene without the images, just the node setup and the texture without any animation?Refracty wrote:Hi Haze,
