The 590 is *just* 2x 1.5GB GTX 570's strapped together lol.

But I'm not sure if you'd get all 3GB of ram or be restricted to 1.5 from each memory bank.
From memory I think you'd only get 1.5 but could be wrong!

Not only that, but wouldn't you need to enable SLI to work with the 590gtx? I thought Octane didn't like SLI enabled?

Octane uses multiple GPUs manually, it does'nt require SLI, you need to disable it for octane to work propperly with multiple GPUs.
