At first I didn't know what Elvissupertard007 meant, but filters are not something you'd want in a render. It's something you do in post.

I want a fast simple renderer not an all in one solution.
If you want thousend of features, the startuptime is greater then the render time...
You want to use filters?
Use Gimp, Photoshop or whatever, they are specialized for that type of work...

And usefull for animators? Animators render in passes and comp the result later together.

I agree with face.... ...there should be more features like ( volume lightning / shaders ,more camera lenses, chromatic abberation, alpha channel and plenty more before this ) ... becouse those cartoony effects are good for ....
