Bug spotted when we import material from live DbManager,
Mix material has to be done manually, like material1, material2 then we have to put the float texture : exemple BronzeV2

makes a lot of sense, will try.
but: we used cloners with render insgances tagged which seemed to make the rendering even less stable.
generally we noticed a lot of crashes when using instances.
whether render instances or the instance object.

win 7 64bit 16mb i7 2600 GTX460
Also i have attached a sample scene and preview video. I hope will help to people. It's a old commercial done with vray and converted to octane. Total render process took only 9 minutes.
It's rendered with geometry update option and can shown on live view with updated geometry option.

If so a 2sec per frame x 270 frames = 9min
