Bug spotted when we import material from live DbManager,
Mix material has to be done manually, like material1, material2 then we have to put the float texture : exemple BronzeV2

re: memory related crashes:

thanks aoktar for your explanation and the screenshots.
makes a lot of sense, will try.

but: we used cloners with render insgances tagged which seemed to make the rendering even less stable.
generally we noticed a lot of crashes when using instances.
whether render instances or the instance object.

Also i have attached a sample scene and preview video. I hope will help to people. It's a old commercial done with vray and converted to octane. Total render process took only 9 minutes.
It's rendered with geometry update option and can shown on live view with updated geometry option.

Hi Aoktar

What is the spec of your machine that rendered the kitchen file. I like to do a comparison to my machine as the scene took two hours to render on my machine.

3930k / 16gb / Titan + 2xgtx590 / psu 1600w / numerous hw

is this the machine spec of the kitchen scene render?

If so a 2sec per frame x 270 frames = 9min

0.69x c4d R12 problem with texture as image in cubic mode and the importation from liveDB are not good.
