yep thats very good release, but...
Node graph zoom behavior is not very intuitive.
Would not it be better if the zoom and pan worked with "ctrl" key. Just like in the viewport?
If I have a lot of nods, in older versions i could assign nodes with mouse scroling down. Now i have to zoom in and out.
If you will make it work with ctrl key, it could be working in two ways.
On my laptop with GTX460M render priority dosn't work.

Thanks roeland for this new realise.
please could you simply tell me how to make this simple SSS node inside the v1.12, cause it takes 5 minutes for me to do it with the v1.10
do you something looks wrong? we can talk about it?
I made an animation (using for the official launch of octanerender for LIGHTWAVE3D) to show some dynamics compatibilities
[vimeo]http://www.vimeo.com/59842269[/vimeo]
now i m doing an animation to show the wonderfull SSS rendering of octane, but i just need to understand why the last realises of octane cant reproduce this (see the pictures belows)
PLEASSSSE i really need the octane team help to understand
As leia said "your are my last hope"

Wow
Just tested for a few minutes and even if there was only UI improvements this version would be great!!!:
- Priority GPU
- Node color by types
- Zoom in node inspector
I like the way Octane is improving...Little by little it becomes more and more efficient and stable in PRO environnement!

Amazing!!!!!! thanks
A Very Nice update.
at first glance everything working fine here. Priority, and node zoom are very usefull.
i prefer the old node design with transparency and checkerboard. Anyway, great update, great works !
Thanks.

Would be great to have some controls over the background image, like zoom, pan, x&y scale, ... to be able to fine adjust it to the scene.
I find the overview rectangle in the node editor a bit cheap, this bright green is not my taste
Zoom over the node editor is really welcome, to be just top notch, it would be nice to be able to choose colors for them and an horizontal tree organisation instead of vertical would really help.

I am (personally) not so sure bro -- the way I work, I would never tweak the image to
my scenes - but always tweak the scene to the image... that I am rendering for. This feature
was begged for by me and some other blokes who do a ton of compositing... this really is
all about compositing.
And by not having controls, this actually helps ensure that you will never accidentally render
your stuff incorrectly... to me, it just seems that with the current bg image, this is essentially
a non-brainer. I love it!
