Sorry about that, not active on these forums, first version I've had any trouble with. Info is in the sig now.

I haven't updated to the latest beta drivers yet because of issues I've been reading about on Guru3D forums.
Main System Specs: Win7 x64 SP1, Dual Xeon X5650, 24GB DDR3, GTX 590 Driver 326.41, Poser Pro 2012 SR3.1 and Poser Pro 2014

Thanks CorDox. That all looks OK.

I have a revised version which I am testing to see if it assists in tracking down the blank viewport issue. I'll post in the next 24hrs if it all checks out OK.

In the meantime, simply refreshing the scene while the Viewport is open is the recommended work-around.

Hi All

I have updated the 1.11u installer to handle the blank Viewport situation better.

Can you pls re-download and let me know if you notice an improvement.

I have refreshed the latest installer again - it includes the following:

- If the scene exceeds the Nvidia cards memory, when the plugin is loading, the plugin now no longer shuts down
- Scene Texture Counter - removed the warning about ignoring invisible figures/props
- Compress Texture Maps - added wait cursor for long running tasks
- Compress Texture Maps - suppressed Poser error when processing HDR images

Poser Fog....

You do NOT need to have the normals of the box pointing inwards.
You DO need to use the Direct Lighting kernel.

Tnx to bepeg4d for the sample scene.

Just wanted to let you know I haven't had any problems with the latest 1.11u3 release.

I wonder if Octane could be adjusted to work with the Oculus Rift? Should probably be asking in the main forum.

There seems to be some conflict with the new Reality 3 plugin and the Octane plugin.

D:\Poser Pro 2012sr3.1\Runtime\Python\addons\Reality\__init__.p y:97: RuntimeWarning: tp_compare didn't return -1 or -2 for exception

Paolo thinks it's an issue with the Octane plugin as there's no tp_compare in the Reality 3 plugin. So who's right and how do we fix it ?

That exception is occurring in Reality, not OctaneRender for Poser. How do you know it's a conflict between the two and not just a Reality3 crash?
