can we choose the colors?

because the sky is an hdr map generated in realtime is it possible to add algorithms to create clouds?

for example Lumion and Vue generate photorealistic clouds.

I'm hoping we'll get point density volumetrics so we can make some nice clouds ourselves.
Otherwise I'll probably just make my own cloud animation in Blender and comp it in for a nice time-lapse effect.

actually, that idea of using real clouds might be a way

some white boxes with a noise turbulence map for the opacity

or mapping an HDRI of a cloudy sky on a dome, and using an opacity map to let the sun through?
workstation well past its sell-by-date, Vista 64 bit (!) with a pitiful amount of RAM, re-invigorated with a GX 590

3ds Max Design 2011 (have 2013 but can't be bothered to re-do all the UI), CS5, and that free z-brush program, whatever it's called

Second one might be an option. I really can't see using a turbulence map for opacity looking good.
