Did i need reset my modo config in each release or not?

It's really hard te setup new settings each ime when i reset config.
In general - it is a good idea to delete your Modo801/901.cfg file with each release. If you don't want to loose your Octane info, pls see http://render.otoy.com/universe.php#42A ... 20Defaults.

yes I deleted my config! Wich version did you use?
Hi Tharso - I am using the plugin version 2.23.2.80.901 and Cropper version 801-15027. Attached is a screenshot showing it working and I have attached the scene too.

That´s the problem !!!! I did not know that 801 version of cropper works with modo 901. They sent to me one new version of cropper in my email, a 901 version, and this version is different and maybe broken. I will try with 801 version of cropper tonight. I know that 801 version works fine with modo 801 in my machine. thanks

I don't want to loose my modo settings :) Is it possible to delete only part with octane settings to refresh data?

I spend about half of day to set up modo hetkeys and settings.

It's very difficult to set up settings each tim with new releases octane plugin.

It will be nise after deinstalling octane plugin modo cfg file is automatically cleaning.

Hi Dmitry - you can try running the plugin without delete your Modo901.cfg, however I cannot guarantee it will work correctly. I find I need to delete my Modo901.cfg many times per week - specially when changing forms or adding/removing channels to items. So having all your custom settings in another Kit saves you all the effort to re-set things up.

If you don't want to delete your Modo901.cfg, I suggest only updating the OctaneRender for Modo plugin (or any other plugin) when absolutely necessary.

Save your changes, like pie menus, settings and hotkeys in separately configs, then you can delete your master config always without delete specifics configs.

Did you try with the scene I posted? Also, I am using it with the OctaneRender Viewport open, rather than the OctaneRender layout. Maybe that makes a difference?

I have refreshed the installers at the top of this thread with:

2.23.2.81
- Fixed crash resulting from activating an already activated plugin
- Fixed issue where saving images with special characters in the filename or folder name were not working
- Converted the nodeGraph and udimNodeGraph nodes from XmlString format to a custom format for storing in the .lxo files to get arond the 63k character limit. Previously saved nodeGraph node in .lxo files will be lost
- NodeGraph an UdimNodeGraph nodes now have a Copy to Clipboard and Paste from Clipboard to transfer Octane nodes in XML format in and out of these nodes (and to/from Octane Standalone)

This version also includes minor fixes such as re-displaying the Setup windows if the Viewport is over it when you click the Show Setup Window button, and add Filter Size to the Render Passes panel.

Thanks
