hello,
unfortunately the latest version does not work with the hdrlightstudio-live-plugin together.
New version 1.23.2 (SDK 1.37) *** 25.03.2014***
Moderators: ChrisHekman, aoktar
For me HDRLightStudio plugin works fine with 1.20a. Absolutely no problem.
Maybe you should completly remove the folder "c4doctane" and reinstall the Octane plugin from a fresh zip file?

Hi Aoktar, I've noticed in the latest version 1.21a there is no Play/Continue button for after the Live Render is paused. The icon where the play button was is now a Stop icon, was this meant to be a toggle button?
The stop button now completely turn the live viewer off. This means it also cuts the connection to your gpu´s, let them clock down and put voltage down. so you can save a lot of power. With resend you can restart the render. Play/pause never could do that and even without rendering the gpu ran at full power!shawnfrueh wrote:Hi Aoktar, I've noticed in the latest version 1.21a there is no Play/Continue button for after the Live Render is paused. About HDR Live studio. I was one of the betatesters. I downloaded the official release they published today and tryed it in 1.18, 1.20 and also in the latest 1.21a ahmet posted on the site before. Worked in every version after 1.18 like a charm.
Maybe you should try to only have hdrls and c4doctane plugins in your plugin folder and retry - maybe its a plugin related problem! Also make sure you have the latest 4.3 release of HDRLS installed!
If not, one of you guys where its not working, should post a simple sample szene, so i can try here if its working!
Chris!
I'm sorry but taking that button away is very counter-productive for those of us with long export times. Sometimes you need to pause the render, tweak a material without slowdown and then continue the render again without re-exporting. I'm not worried about my GPU's being set at full power for the 10-30 seconds that I have the render paused, that MORE than makes up for the countless seconds I now have to waste re-exporting. This isn't an issue in standalone... so I'm not sure why it's an issue in the plugin. Can we please add that button back?cfrank78 wrote:The stop button now completely turn the live viewer off. stop render button should be here, because that can allow gpu's in idle frequencies. But i'll look to add two functionality to pause button as pause/resume rendering

At this point is there any difference from the "Stop" button and the "Stop & Reset" button? I thought that's what "Stop & Reset" button was originally for, to stop the render and idle the GPU's. According to the Octane log they both seem to be using the same command, so could one of them just go away?

Stop and Reset button does Stop and reset all data in plugin and Octane side.

Sorry, Ahmet & cfrank78. I think I'm understanding the intention for the current state of the interface. The big thing that I was was missing is that with the new STOP button you can now hit the icon that looks like a "dvd chapter back" button to restart the render without re-exporting. (That icon goes mostly ignored at our studio because there wasn't a real point to it until now)aoktar wrote:Stop button does the stopping current rendering.goumz wrote: Ahmet,

So both stop buttons make sense, but I still feel there should be a play/pause toggle button in the icon list to resume a render without restarting it, sometimes you need to do something on the rendering machine which requires you to pause a render that's been going for 20 minutes and that still has 10 minutes left. We shouldn't have to completely restart that render, just resume where it left off.
Otherwise, there would be no need for a Pause button at all, correct?
