After sending a message to the developer, it sounds like he's about ready to release it, if he can finish what he's been debugging. I like that idea.

This is absolutely fantastic news, wish I'd spotted it earlier.
Ever since I purchased Octane I've wanted to see a DAZ Studio plugin.
At last, I'll have the sort of pipeline I've been wanting for years!
I'm curious though, is there any way to render an animation perhaps by sending a frame to Octane one by one, rendering it until it reaches a set amount of pixels, and then moving on to the next frame?
Either way, I really look forward to this plugin!

And I especially like the idea of debugging - what I meant. As a developer, I understand the need to have a closed package.

I'm waiting with great impatience too. But don't put too much pressure, I understand that the devlopper needs time to finalize his work. Debugging is really an important phase in the developpement process.
