OctaneRender for Maxon Cinema4D Plugin Product dev wanted

I started to be quite disappointed.

I just wrote an article about Octane (touting the merits of this software) that will appear early next week.
Yet I look increasingly to Arion.

i don't want to raise any hopes on that (!) but me and a friend are currently evaluating the possibilities.

i'm solid with c4d but haven't used it that much lately, he's an experienced c++ coder, and of course we both know octane very well. the "only" problem is, that we haven't any experiences with c4d plugin coding. so if anyone who has some knowledge but can't or won't do such a plugin himself and could give a little insight, like how it is to work with the c4d ui framework and and how complicated it is to address raw geometry in c4d - for people that have never done that before - just direct him here, or send me a pm...

Has anyone posted this in the Maxon beta forum? That is where you have all of the people that you would need for this? If nobody has, i would be willing to!

It would be wonderful doc.
Already installd Arion demo and downloaded c4d plugin, are at risk to give up octane if it work as well

If the support from RS for the creation of a C4D plugin is still provided, there is somebody that I know through the MAXON beta site that may be interested and capable of creating a plugin. This would be wonderful!!! Do you want me to facilitate the communication?
