@Radiance,
A job well done, I'm impressed that even my Dell D630 can now handle larger scenes and render at larger resolution easily. :shock:

Used to be limited to 600x400 now able to easily do 1024x768 :o

You are on the right track allowing the support of entry level systems along with Big Boy Toys. KUDOS!

Like the lighting too, I'll play with it a bit more. Thanks for all the work you have done.

Do you know the 4K contests? http://wiki.java.net/bin/view/Games/4KGamesDesign
You should see what Equinox, Melon Dezign, Northstar, Pygmy Projects, Red Sector Incorporated, Sanity, Spaceballs, Spreadpoint, The Black Lotus, Tristar and Red Sector Incorporated, Virtual Dreams done in the 90's...
Kiding...
- Octane is been developed without redundant codes, with dozens of 3rd dlls libraryies.
Radiance has more than 10 years coding... By now, with a bigger coders tream (jobs page), will be hard keep Octane "compact" like it is now, once each developer will take care of special features of software, like its all.
By now, we will see the soft structure with more dlls and subfolders. The users doesn't needs to worry about that, because it's normal, and this is the easyest method to improve and check bugs and optimizations.
Radiance, correct me if I'm wrong, pls...
In resume, the roadmap is 101% smoooooth... Congrats RS.

In the old demo, we don't have any resolution limitation. In the new DEMO refractivesoftware block the resolution.
It's correct? Just to know if it's my problem. :)
