great version, thumb up ;)
i like all the new features and fixing :)
the new dl-gi is much more accurate and clean, unfortunately now it's slower then pt
i think there is a problem with pmc and portals, after 60 sample it start to become brigther and play with exposer doesn't do the trick, no problem with pt and portals

awesome additions and improvements, I knew that you guys being so quiet this past week meant your noses where glued to your monitors, lol. Nice work as always, and I run to test it, have a nice rest this weekend while our GPUs render away!

Great release :) faster (or so it seems) and stable. I just noticed that diffuse transmission works with direct light's diffuse mode. Cool ;]

Just checked it with 2.49b PMC and portal enabled (it can be seen opened in node inspector). It is rendering now, at the time is ~370 samples/px, 9 minutes of render, all is OK...
NVIDIA drivers are last, just installed, 280.26.

PS. It is a project (.ocs) stored from 2.49 and just opened in 2.49b to check this...

EDIT: Now it is already 1689 samples/px, 38 minutes of render, all is OK...

Perhaps can be the difference that camera direction in your scene is opposite to portals, and in my scene portal looks in the same direction as the camera (it is behind-left of the camera)... Just thinking...

I'm getting a constant crash on my secondary gpu (just rendering with that one) in a scene in PT and DL (haven't test it in PMC) just moving around and it stalls and crashes (no error and if I shutdown the process and open octane again it only shows my primary gpu), and I need to shutdown and restart the OS to get it working (a simple restart won't do, the system just waits for the gpu to go idle and it stays there). The scene is my firefly one with the scenery of the gecko one, not many polys 350K but lots of alpha transparency on the background grass. I've tried without the grass and while playing with the light power it crashes again. Not certain if it's Octane, my GPU, or SP1 of windows 7 (which is the only new thing on my system). I can't test further today, but I can upload the scene if interested.

And good question was about command line switches of output formats: explain us please, I already added this choice in next version of MaxOctaner, but don't know what for switches to set in command line...
