Please be aware we do not keep backwards compatibility with or between experimental builds so that might be the issue. If not, could you describe in detail what you do and what you expect to get vs what you see? Thank you.muoumuua wrote:The post layer in the output exr multi-channel is lost, from XB4 to RC3。

I mean to use batch rendering, no matter what format the post layer will be lost。mojave wrote:Please be aware we do not keep backwards compatibility with or between experimental builds so that might be the issue. Is there a reason why we are limited to only 4 objects to scatter?
Win 10 64bit // GTX 4090 + GTX 3090 // 5900x // 64GB // SideFX Houdini // C4D
No - OctaneRender 2020.x and Octane X still don't mix (at least over netrender). We are going to try to work on this during the 2021 release cycle (after 2020.2) - which will also be the first time we release NEW features at the same time for both OctaneRender (CUDA) 2021.1 and Octane X (Metal) 2021.1 versions and going forward.joenyc wrote:Will this version work as a slave to a Octane X PR 2/3 or 4Mac? I understand (I think) that requires the Windows version to be upgraded to v10 of the SDK so they match, but it’s unclear what release that is planned for. I just upgraded to enterprise, so excited to put my old gaming PC’s Nvidia card to work.
Node graph complexity - if it is a limitation you want to see removed, please let us know and we can look at improving this in 2021.1 if we can't squeeze it into 2020.2.galleon27 wrote:Is there a reason why we are limited to only 4 objects to scatter?
Well it would be nice if we could add how many inputs we want, like the group node.Goldorak wrote:Node graph complexity - if it is a limitation you want to see removed, please let us know and we can look at improving this in 2021.1 if we can't squeeze it into 2020.2.galleon27 wrote:Is there a reason why we are limited to only 4 objects to scatter?
