Normals treated as flipped on previous version scene that has an Octane Object tag assigned (even thought the Normals are correct) when opened in this version.
Edit: Enabling Subdivisions in Object tag flips the normals

dont workaoktar wrote:I'm aware of that. But i don't know how much often happens on users. This happens randomly as i can understand. But i'm still not sure about reason.NVN wrote: Cinma4D R17 dont close correctly...if i close Cinema4D, Cinema4D runs still in the background und dont close. So i cant use Octane on another machine because its still activated on the other machine.
Do you know what kind of problem this be could?
Could you try with disabling "Allow to send renderstarts to Otoy"?

its really strange.....some other idears?
It seems fine on latest builds on me. But i have removed some other plugins. There may be some conflict to hangs the network operation on closing. Can you try without other plugins?NVN wrote: dont work

I know this issue since sometimes. But it stopped to happen since 1 or 2 weeks on me. I'm not still sure what's the reason.

Hi! Is it possible to add Stop Live viewer function when plugin is loaded with cinema4d startup?
If not is there option to do this with python? We can call stop state with python but it runs before plugin is loaded so its not working.
Why I asking for this? When Cinema4D is loaded first time, GPU receive some data from Octane and eats a little memory from all GPUs I have. So I need to go to LV and push button stop to flush the memory. Its not a big deal but i need this extra megabytes for other purposes.
