I do have one more Questions, maybe not entirelly 'bout OVR, but more about the player =)

could we make "tours" in it? - arange panoramas in a way so we could move from still to still?
(something simillar jsut for web was used there)

Yes we want to have this feature by Octane 3. The player currently plays back video, and mix that with layers (i.e. cube map background), and it is entirely lua driven, for hot sport support and navigation. We haven't had time to expose the authoring side yet beyond images/videos, but we will be enabling more as we get closer to v3.

The player can load exr files, and one idea might be to use material, object or layerID passes to trigger a lua event you would attach as a script node.

As for the competition dates, they are set by Oculus, not us, as they are the sponsor. You can still enter in the last month and win the grand prize. We are here to help you get going as quickly as possible.

Could you pleaseu provide a documentation of json flags and general technical information of requirements and techniques to explore what is possible at the moment with the App?

How can we layer a cube map animation tile onto the cube stripe?
