yeah, me too :) thanks for your help!

as far as the reflectivity issue i'm concerned about, I was referring to the reflectivity setting in the actual material, not the specular depth. I'm really starting to wonder if the code for the specular material is incorrect when handling clear glass. I have a couple experiments i'm going to do to help me check this out but after running into the issue with this bottle, something just seems off.

I'll be interested in seeing any tests.

I haven't had issues with glass (set around 1.520) and almost white reflection so will be cool to check out any findings.
