Nope, I can't get it to use the correct Antialiasing size.
And color correction if possible.gabrielefx wrote:Regarding Vray scene conversion don't forget: Vray sun, Vray ies lights, materials with the correct procedural Max textures.
Please implement Max gradient conversion.

hello Karba
Regarding Vray scene conversion it would be cool to have a "no action node" to replace vray "tint" for example (and all node octane don't convert).
So the bitmap would be converted to RGB_image. The final render would be different but we could replace the "no action node" by something we want.
It is a pain to replace bitmap by RGB_images, sometimes connection wires are very crazy !
Perhaps as an option.

Hi Karba
here is what I have in the Log => render freeze until log is full (5000 lines)
Tried to access null node pin
Can't read bool from static pin 'unknown' (P_UNKNOWN, type PT_UNKNOWN) of node '' (NT_UNKNOWN, 0000000044C2A080)
Tried to access pin via an invalid ID P_UNKNOWN (0)
2.16 is ok.

Hi Karba
Just a question I have for months about a very annoying behaviour.
Why does a glossy material react this way when the diffuse color is not black ?
I don't mean it's a bug but I would like to understand this effect and maybe counteract it.
Thanks in advance for your answer

this is normal. This is a physical behavior. Diffuse and specular can't have the same rgb value.bicket wrote:Hi Karba

So I have to keep the diffuse channel black and mix the glossy material with a diffuse one.
