Hi,
Just get the 2.15 OcDS to try with V4 TGX.
I rerendered a work done on 2013 with OcDS 1.2.
Not easy to see effect of TGX on these light condition (third image).

As you've already mentioned - the lighting is a little bit problematic in this shot to really see all the features of RedSpec SSS.
You just need to know, what to look for
While the SSS is present very subtle in the facial area, you can also see increased texture detail and sharpness (for example on her left shoulder.)
Also, the eye reflections are now physics-based and not pre-baked as they are in the other shots.
All in all, a shader will only be as good as the underlying texture set used.
A shader - in addition to that - is always at it's best, when it's not noted by the viewer. It's the small simple things that add to a more realistic look.

I just spent a few hours trying to tease dynamic clothes to fit this;

1. Testing your SSS Shaders. Animation doesn`t work with OcDz 2.1 , so i had to convert the shaders by .ocs from Daz to Cinema 4D.
Animation rendered in C4d Octane ... only in Direct Lighting and 100s/px to be fast.
2. Image rendered in Daz with Path Tracing.
I wish Geometrie Animation is possible soon in Daz...it would be so much easier !
I luv your SSS Shaders ...
cheers

HAHA, now this is what I call awesome!
So nice to see an animated piece with our shaders.
Icing on the cake would be to see that whole animation rendering with Pathtracing
Thanks for the input and keep it coming

Thank u , TRRazor
Ok, here is another one. This time i have exported the Alembic and Shader files to Octane Standalone.
Rendered with Pathtracing and 300s/px on 2 Titans. I like the Red Glue coming from the SSS Shaders
Lot`s of fun with your Shaders .... weiter so , mehr davon
cheers

Damn that just looks insane! Didn´t know the shaders could look THAT good. I´m assuming it´s a custom skin texture?StyleMarshal wrote:Thank u , TRRazor

Thank you , richertmx
I`ve used the normal Ryze Material , only the teeth needed a little bit of rework. http://www.daz3d.com/ryze

Hi there,
Just sharing 2 of my uploads of Miho on Renderosity. Used the Red Spec for G2F. Did go through and edit the nodes a bit to get the result I wanted. Daz V6 Anna texture I have been using was a pain to use with Red Spec on for me with overblown highlights... Finally got it under control by editing the textures in Photoshop and changing settings in RedSpec nodes.
The pose in the two images are almost same, just the environment Miho is in the 2 renders are very different.
In the one titled 'Miho - Fun in the Sun', to reduce the tan on her legs, I edited the Anna textures further in Photoshop... The results are a bit less tan... Probably need to work on it a bit more to remove the tan further.
Enjoy =) !
Cheers,
Rajib
