Can you post the messages you see in the log window?

Octane is also crashing on me when I turn on subdiv in the OBJ import section and click on the mesh node. I don't know if it's a problem with the geometry or something else? It's a helmet that my son made, not many polys, about 4700. We are checking for non-manifold polys, etc. If we find some he will fix the mesh and I will try to subdivide again.

What about the promissed new tutorials ?, they need to be updated anyway.
I understand Otoy is centered towards releases now, like the After Effects plugin.
Tutorials from advanced users are fine too, Mainly covering possible doubts on the new features.
I have issues importing Hair from 3ds Max, for an instance, that are not present at the Max plugin.

Hello Roeland

The displacement+fog happens sometimes, when it will happen again I'll send you the log.

I just discovered another possible bug, when you have a orbx on your scene that has an alembic file inside, octane will crash when loading the scene.

Kind regards
Filipe

There is an issue with Network rendering:

If I have a machine rendering with standalone, it is still available as a slave on the network,
this can be dangerous when you have many machines as it can cause the render to crash because the machine is forced to make another render at the same time.

Another network render issue:

slaves fail when you save an image while rendering.
