It would seem we have lost the ability to tabulate between value fields again.

Also, no change regarding the problem I met with the previous version : http://render.otoy.com/forum/viewtopic. ... 60#p191253
Not much we can say here. BSODs are usually caused by driver issues. Which driver did you install? Maybe try a clean install of a different one (don't forget to disable SLI afterwards). Also keep in mind that you should run the Standalone installer at least once to set up the TdrDelay correctly in the registry. Otherwise you may run into issues using displacement mapping.
Hi Abstrax,

It seems that the problem comes from the low power supply of the expansion box, I put the GTX780 in the PC tower and the GTX580 in the expansion box and everything seems stable now.

Use the right mouse button.

I am aware of it but in 2.00 there was a double click option which worked so well and I liked it a lot. :)

Dunno if this was posted, or if it's an actual bug and not just how things are supposed to work, but the Object Layer node doesn't work (has no effect), if you put a Placement node before it. But everything works properly if you put the Placement node after Object Layer Map.

Not a big deal, just something I noticed.

This is exactly the same that material map works. This is fine.

I tried to use the random texture map, it's fine but not usable for my needs as the gradient provides a too big variation in the result.
Imo the best solution would be to have an extensible node (like group node) on which we could plug materials duno if this is something feasible.

Two more things:
Is it possible to set the subsampling to 4x4 as the default, this will avoid to change it at each load of a scene.
It would be really nice to have a button to switch off all the emitters
Same for the displacements

Thanks

thanks for the new version and in particular for breaking the number of textures limit :)
this is a big enhancement for my workflow, thanks again
thanks also for updating the ElBloko splash screen ;)
unfortunately there is no good news about the mac slave demon under maverick in a mixed network, it stops working after 1 minute :(
i wonder if it has the same behavior in mac only net
no issues as usual with the mac as master.

It's a new "feature" in MacOS 10.9: AppNap. It puts the daemon to sleep and causes the heartbeat messages not to arrive in time. To "fix" it, turn on the option "Prevent AppNap" in the file info of the daemon app (which you can find in /Applications) and restart the daemon.
