Hey Aoktar, Is it possible to add a check box for your print statements? The console gets filled really fast and interrupts my own outputs.


Edit: I have also noticed that the RotY in the environment tag is incorrect still and as well, I think the actual rotations of the environment should come from the rotation of the OctaneSky object. Something I feel should be incorporated into the OctaneSky object is view-port visibility. Similar to applying a material to sky object.

After opening up the standalone version of octane, I am able to rotate the HDRI how I would like to using the projection rotation values.

Update: In order to get the correct rotations I have found that the Image texture must be set to 3D rotation, spherical projection, Object coordinates, and then you can use the Internal Transformation. This is a lot of steps that could be saved by adding those xyz values to the tag itself.

I installed the new version of the C4D plugin , 1.53, and the new standalone version correctly, like it was shown in the readme.txt file.

But cinema 4D Release 15 crashes when I try to create a new octane material. :(

Please someone help me!

can you give me more info? Did you wrote over old version or is it first install? It sounds to me as wrong dll's problem

which outputs? Currently it shouldn't do so much output if you didn't select log output. For OctaneSky, I can't do it at the moment. I have to finish 2.0's tasks.

For Environment:
Environment texture has uv. But it works same as Spherical projection. I don't see any problem on translate values of Environmenttag

Right now octane 1.53.1 is printing "Check from draw" every time move around or change something in cinema.

I will make a video today about what I am trying to explain with the Environment tag.

I deleted all the files in the c4doctane folder and copied the new files there, of course I kept only the "c4dOctane-r15.cdl64", like it was written, in the readme.txt. Additionally, I deinstalled the old standalone version and installed the new one.

Do I have to delete files in the c4d folder, also?

And if yes, which files?

I only found octane related files in the c4doctane folder, in "Plugins".

Where do you set up Camera Imager options and Postprocessing now?

For Live Viewer it's all fine.

But for Picture Viewer I see no effect. Neither I use settings in Camera tag or with any other settings...

I'm running low on time, please reply quickly.

Post processing set up in camera tag.
AVI animation set up.
Run animation - first frame is the same as in Live Viewer.
Seccond frame and the rest is different.

With "send all scene data" checked in - even first frame is wrong.

WHAT IS THE PROBLEM?
