I already asked about it: can you please post some screenshots of GPU load before starting and after ending the render?..voon wrote:Hm, still having the issue with octane not stopping, when I ESC a render ... now tested this at home on my 780Ti and the newest NVidia driver .. same issue. I hit ESC twice to exit rendering and work in blender ... GPU load stays at 100% and I have to kill and relaunch the octane server.
OctaneRender™ for Blender 1.50 - 4.3 beta Win [OBSOLETE]
Sure .... you mean with a tool like HWINFO64? I watched that before and the GPU load was 100%. I can screenshot that ... or do you have a preferrence?
By the way: This does not happen, if the renderer reaches it's maximum samples .. if it finishes normally, the load goes down again. But it ignores the ESC stop. When it stops rendering, GPU load goes down back to 0, but GPU power and Clock remain somewhat high. If I then stop the octane renderer by righclick onto the tray icon, GPU Clock and Power also fall back down to low levels.

Hi, if I buy blender plugin, will I need to upgrade it, when I upgrade standalone to Octane 2.0?

Hi,
Sometime, in render animation mode, the server just crash, like in blender, you see "waiting for images" and no more. After stop the rendering, the server logo in taskbar just close. It done this like 5-6 times at the start of my animation (5 to 20 frames computed, after crash).
And after a few crash, works well since 4 hours now, without errors.
It's just for information.
Matt
ps : found error from strange moving camera, one tracker was in rotation mode...

I have the same issue too (as well as with previous build).MattRM wrote:Sometime, in render animation mode, the server just crash, like in blender, you see "waiting for images" and no more. According to Otoy, the price for updating a 3rd party plugin will be set by the dev that is working on it (blenders plugin for example). It does appear to me that yes you will need to update the plugin in order to use the 2.0 features.kivig wrote:Hi, if I buy blender plugin, will I need to upgrade it, when I upgrade standalone to Octane 2.0?
