How full is the memory on your card?

(Octane lets me load the image no problem, admittedly I don't have your scene)

It's just coffee bean in the scene. (aayyy :) heheh)

Around 20mb of 512 is taken. It loads as float image, but wont as image.

Aah, well float is all you really need, as it is a greyscale image :)

Not sure why it should crash as an image for you...

The float image is 1/3 to 1/4 of the size of an image in the amount of memory it takes up.

I managed to optimize my geometry and spare some extra polys to push arabica beans details a little bit further. Here is a new set of images:)
