Movable Proxy doesn't make any sense for 3dsmax viewport, but does for Octane.Olitech wrote:Pardon my ignorance,
But can someone explain what an Octane Movable Proxy does? What are the benefits? I'm fully familiar with Vray Proxies, but I don't fully understand Octane Proxies.
As far as I can tell (and I'm likely wrong), but when I convert to Octane Proxy, there is still geometry in the scene. I can still see my poly count go up when I instance them.
What is the advantage?
