Perhaps is true that they hate Octane...?
Is ANY image rendered with Octane ever been published on CGTalk?

They used to be. Not anymore. Enrico's had all his work denied as well for quite some time.

As for me, I was completely fooled. I took one glance at the top image as I scrolled down and thought "no way! This is amazing!", and then thought, "oh, he must've just posted the reference image of his son first". Then I freaked out when I saw the next image realising it was indeed a render.
