Hi, the rule it's about aliasing problems that Octane had before (render at high resolution and resize to small to get rid of the aliasing), with new version ( 2.3 v5) there is no need to do that.manos wrote:Hi, i'm using GTX480, and i only render small interior scenes (kitchens-livingrooms). About your render results, can you post a render so I can see whats going one and how can I help you..
It's good idea to create a new thread and post some of your renders there so the community can help you too..
Also it's good to mention what 3d package you'r using..

Allright, thank you for your time. I think it's something got to do with my 3d's object units, by the way I'm using sketchup 8 ( I export without the octane plugin- I don't know how to use it) . I'm a bit disappointed, because I saw some great results that other users posted on the forum. I'm rendering a "small"scene(a kitchen for example) for 3 hours to 12000 samples, and I don't get even close compering to what I've seen.I will post some pics tomorrow. Thank you again.

As you can see my final rendering is awful.I'm using sketchup 8 (i'm not using the octane exporter, i just can see my model at all). This image was made after 2 hours of rendering at 8000 samples with 1680x1050 resoloution. My gpu is a GTX 480.What is wrong? I'm posting also my scene without maps.Thanks.
