I would like to see in Octane a system that generates realtime lens flares according with lenses used and geometry (emitter) position.
We can see a good example in Lumion.

Adding bloom as post effect is Ok, but adding white balance feature is not Ok ?
Why? Bloom is cool and WB is not?

Please calm down Suv. Nobody said that there won't be white balance. It just won't be in 1.0 (as well as no bloom and the other things we are currently working on).

Cheers,
Marcus

Thanks for that reply.
I'm calm.;) (sry if i sounded a bit offencive, but i wanted some feedback on this)
I was under impression that the official point of view about WB was, that it's a post effect and has no place in Octane and users should do it in some 3rd party app. If you say it will be added then everything is cool. 8-)
Thanks.

The initial bloom tests look promising, although I would say they are some way from being 'photographic'.

Still, very keen to see how these function and behave once they make it into a public version :)
