Октан сам по себе не поддерживает клиппинг, я тут бессилен.

(Propuin: no that one was from the last years contest - we didn't even get through the first round with that one, the one with the second place award is a bunch of modular cubes in a composition, go figure :))

there is still some viewport navigation lag in max 2013 version when all cores active - working in directmode with small number of polys and still seems slower than when working in 2012 / that's with all 4 gpus running..

just a thought occured, I would like to open up the image in photoshop or something else instead of just going to the max frame so I found this script
http://www.scriptspot.com/3ds-max/scrip ... er?page=16
either I don't know how to set it up or it isn't working in max2013 or with octane..

could you implement an "open with" button so we could open it in photoshop?

@Karba

thank you for having increased the fb resolution limit.

Now I can render directly within the Octane fb at 4000x3000 and adjust exposure, gamma, etc.

This is the best Octane for Max release.

Did you run standalone render in parallel?

VFB+ > Extension to the 3dsmax Frame Buffer

cool script enables to open in photoshop (and other stuff) directly from framebuffer via render button
- doesn't work with octane apparently just does a blank render - now I have to uninstal it I guess, it would be cool if it worked with that
really nice tool..
..

a quick workaround, when rendering via render button there's a toggle VFB+ button, and you copy from the standard and paste to vfb+ button to work it..

so if someone wants to load directly from frame buffer to PS, here's that scripts that sort of works OK, doesn't pass through the alpha channel information though..
